I felt the need to write a blog today because I have a strong feeling for a horse in the main race today. By saying that I've probably jinxed the hell out of it, but hey ho... still feeling confident.
14.30 Cheltenham - Paddy Power Gold Cup
As I write this, all 20 runners are still standing, so this is looking like an excellent renewal. You have the class horses in Finians Rainbow and Champion Court... and the promising 2nd season chasers in Rajdhani Express and Johns Spirit all lining up. However, its none of those that I have my eye on. The horse in question has a 100% record when first time out, good course form and is well weighted (in my opinion) as he was 3rd last year off 5lbs heavier. I am of course talking about Nadiya De La Vega. For those of you that followed 'The Rascal' will remember him well as he was a selection of mine last year on his seasonal debut. This is my confident selection today.

15.55 Cheltenham - Neptune Investment
My only 'win' bet today is in this race and its the Emma Lavelle trained Timesremebered. Emma Lavelle couldn't be in any better form and I was very impressed by my selections Grade 2 win last time out. Paul Nichols horse could be anything, but I think Timesremembered has all the rest covered.

Zafranagar should be spot on from his seasonal reappearance 2 weeks ago and should be ready for today. He was well backed for that run, which suggests he should have been ready then, but visually it looked to me that he was in need of the run.
