Even though its a shame that Ayr has been abandoned, I still think there is plenty to like at Lingfield today... and I like 1 at Southwell.

The NAP comes in this race and I side with Commemorate for John Ferguson. This new trainer has had an excellent start to his training career and can continue today. Commemorate was only ok on the flat for Andre Fabre but J Ferguson has been transferring many average flat horses into very promising hurdlers of late.

This is where the N.B runs, and its for one of the Richard Hannon horses. I side with Emmuska who won nicely over c&d last time out and has a very good apprentice on him to reduce the penalty. So he's actually running off the same mark today.

My 3rd and final bet today comes in this claimer. Le Toreador has an excellent strike rate at Lingfield in much better races here... however, he does have to bounce back from a very poor run last time out. I am pleased to see Philip Makin back on and I am expecting a very big run.
