I have been requested by a follower for some tips today. A lucky 15 was requested so I have found four bets that I will be backing in singles. I do not like the 'lucky' bets as do not think they are worthwhile unless all four win... which is unlikely.
So here are my four. In no particular order, I will be backing them all.
14.40 Lingfield
Anginola
11-8 Best price.
14.50 Catterick
Floras Pride
3-1 Best price.
16.00 Leicester
Blues And Twos
2-1 Best price.
16.20 Catterick
Stopped Out
13-8 Best price.
Good luck all.

RACING Saturday 25/02/12
Good morning all. I haven't had a blog for a couple of weeks, and today i bring you 3 selections. All at E/W.
14.00 Kempton
Dildar comes with an extremely high reputation. I believe that P Nichols will have him in better shape today and I feel he will jump better. With the price you can get, I'd advise e/w.
NAP
4-1 Best price.
15.05 Kempton
Deep Purple won well for me last time out, and with a small break I can see him running a big race again. He has been highly tried in recent years and I feel Group 3 is about the right place for him. He has an excellent record going on right handed tracks as well.
N.B
10-1 Best price.
15.25 Newcastle
The Eider Chase is definitely a race where the 'trends' kick in. Eyre Square fits most of those, loves running in a marathon and is the one for me.
N.N.B
13-2 Best price.
Best of luck everyone today.

RACING Saturday 11/02/12
Good morning all. 9 selections for you all today, and I have backed them all. Only small stakes though as the racing looks tough today. Sorry for the quick reasoning today, but i'm a busy man!
Lingfield
12.35 - Bardoni is another newcomer for Mark Johnson who is in form with newcomers at the moment.
WIN
4-1 Best price
14.15 - Cut The Cackle won well for me last week and I can see him winning for me again today. He is up 5lbs, but I do not think that will stop him.
WIN
4-1 Best price
14.45 - Five Star Junior is weighted to run well today and at the prices is well worth an e/w bet.
E/W
9-1 Best price
15.55 - Tartan Trip is gradually improving since his return from a break and I can see him in the picture here.
E/W
7-1 Best price
Mussleburgh
14.35 - Moonlight Drive is not on better ground than last time when he was disappointing... expecting a better run from a good handicap mark.
WIN
4-1 Best price
15.10 - Woody Waller is running really well at present and can go one better with James Reveley on board.
E/W
15-2 Best price
16.20 - Chester Lad impressed me on chase debut last week and can show off his speed here and win (hopefully)
WIN
2-1 Best price
16.50 - Cape Dutch steps back up in trip and these weights I cannot see anything beating him.
WIN
9-4 Best price
Kempton
16.10 - Hawawi has got some very good maiden form and I believe this handicap mark for debut is rather lenient... expecting a big run. Richard Hughes on board in a bonus too.
WIN
3-1 Best price
Good luck everyone.

RACING Wednesday 08/02/12
After the success of my Handicap Special on Saturday, I have decided to look at the handicaps today. I started looking last night and found a few that interested me, so thought I would write some drivel about them.
Like Saturday, no NAPS or NB's I like them all.
14.20 Kempton
Bobbyow has had 2 promising runs since his break and should be spot on for today. He is still on a nice handicap mark and can go one better here today.
E/W
7-1 Best price.
14.50 Kempton
Forbidden is too high a price here to ignore. He is 8lbs lower than when a good third over C&D a year ago. He has had 3 runs since his comeback and the last was a much improved run. 3lbs extra off from the claimer as well.
E/W
25-1 Best price.
15.25 Kempton
Majestic Rose won well on his only visit at Kempton and is easing down the weights nicely. There is also a good young claimer on board who takes off an extra 5lbs.
E/W
5-1 Best price.
16.30 Kempton
Pale Orchid is nicely bred and won for me last time out against an odds on shot. He has clearly improved recently and can gain his hat trick here.
WIN
13-8 Best price. (9-4 was available yesterday)
17.00 Kempton
Little Red Minx didn't run badly on handicap debut . The extra 2 furlongs should definitely help here today.
E/W
13-2 Best price.
17.30 Kempton
There are only a few horses in this race that you could call 'in form'. None more so that Rightcar who won well last time, hasn't been killed by the handicapper and now has Luke Morris on. For those reasons he is my selection.
WIN
7-2 Best price.
18.00 Kempton
the ultra consistent Dvinsky can run well here on his 200th start and I fully expect him to be in the frame.
E/W
7-1 Best price.
Good luck all!

RACING Saturday 04/02/12 - Handicap Special
I'm probably not the first person to say how disappointed they are that no jump meetings made it in the UK today. I was especially looking forward to seeing Oscar Whiskey... but oh well, at least we have some racing on the polytrack.
I will only be looking at the handicaps at both Lingfield and Wolverhampton today so lets see what I can find.
These are not NAPS, or NB's... I will be backing all of them for small stakes to make the polytrack interesting.
14.00 Lingfield
Cut The Cackle was VERY unlucky last time out and can make amends here. With a lot of pace in the race we can expect this one to come late.
WIN
3-1 Best price.
WINNER
14.30 Lingfield
Custom House is my highest priced runner of the day. If it comes 2nd or 3rd then I'll be happy. This gelding has dropped to a handy mark and has a good claimer taking off another 3lbs.
E/W
14-1 Best price.
Unplaced
15.00 Lingfield
Lockantanks loves it here and ran very well in a higher grade last time. Expecting to at least place.
E/W
6-1 Best price.
2nd
15.35 Lingfield
In my eyes Layline improved for the extra 2 furlongs last time and was dropped 4lbs (??)... I am expecting Shane Kelly to get the best out of him this time as somehow Robert Winston got this horse caught in traffic in a 4 runner race last time!
E/W
13-2 Best price.
WINNER
14.05 Wolverhampton
Even though Misere has never won before, he has been running off a mark that is far too high for him. I am definitely expecting better for the drop in trip and off 51 can make his presence felt.
E/W
8-1 Best price.
4th :-(
14.40 Wolverhampton
Piscean steps back up in trip to 7 furlongs, which I think is an excellent decision. and has Jamie (Frank) Spencer on...
WIN
5-1 Best price.
WINNER - won at 11-2
15.15 Wolverhampton
Veroon is now back down to his last winning mark and likes it over this course and distance. This is a good price against the fancied runners.
E/W
9-1 Best price.
2nd
15.45 Wolverhampton
Face Value is expected to run well now stepped up in trip for Gordon Elliot and will now be spot on after recent run from a break.
WIN
9-4 Best price.
WINNER
17.15 Wolverhampton
Mccool Bananas should have been a clear cut winner last time, so clearly off a good mark. Lets hope Adam Kirby doesn't make the same mistake as Hayley Turner.
WIN
2-1 Best price.
VOID
And that's it for the handicap special.
Good luck all.
