RACING Wednesday 08/02/12

After the success of my Handicap Special on Saturday, I have decided to look at the handicaps today. I started looking last night and found a few that interested me, so thought I would write some drivel about them.


Like Saturday, no NAPS or NB's I like them all.




14.20 Kempton
Bobbyow has had 2 promising runs since his break and should be spot on for today. He is still on a nice handicap mark and can go one better here today.

14.50 Kempton
Forbidden is too high a price here to ignore. He is 8lbs lower than when a good third over C&D a year ago. He has had 3 runs since his comeback and the last was a much improved run. 3lbs extra off from the claimer as well.

15.25 Kempton
Majestic Rose won well on his only visit at Kempton and is easing down the weights nicely. There is also a good young claimer on board who takes off an extra 5lbs.

16.30 Kempton
Pale Orchid is nicely bred and won for me last time out against an odds on shot. He has clearly improved recently and can gain his hat trick here.

17.00 Kempton
Little Red Minx didn't run badly on handicap debut . The extra 2 furlongs should definitely help here today.

There are only a few horses in this race that you could call 'in form'. None more so that Rightcar who won well last time, hasn't been killed by the handicapper and now has Luke Morris on. For those reasons he is my selection.

the ultra consistent Dvinsky can run well here on his 200th start and I fully expect him to be in the frame.
