Waking up and seeing the United fans at work today was excellent. Maybe not if you're a United fan I suppose, and with the team I support I cant really say anything... but it was fun none the less!
Only 2 bets take my fancy today in the UK, but I also have 2 e/w selections from Meydan, which opens the Dubai World Cup Carnival.
12.40 Sedgefield
It is not normally clever to go against Tim Vaughan when he has a good horse, but I feel that the step up in trip and the ground will go against Judiciary and be massively in the favour of my selection All That Remains. This Steve Gollins trained horse won a P2P in Ireland on soft ground over 3 miles, and looks set to build on his promising return / debut over hurdles last month.
NAP
5-2 Best price.
3rd
14.50 Lingfield
I will be going against another odds on shot here with Syndication. The favourite Balleygarvy came 2nd in quite a hot hurdles race last time out but was 125-1 so I feel this may have been a fluke. Syndication will relish the heavy ground here and has an excellent chance against the fave.
N.B
5-1 Best price.
POOR
My 2 e/w selections at Meydan.
17.00 Meydan
There are 13 runners in this race and only 1 of them has won a Group race. Granted, it was in Argentina, but its still a Group race, which is better than anything else in this race. Anaerobio also has to overcome a long absence but he has joined a very good yard with Mike de Kock and can show his class here.
N.N.B
6-1 best price.
16.20 Meydan
This race will be fast and furious and I cannot get past Green Beret at the prices.
4th Choice.
13-2 Best price.
Good luck all!
